The role.
We are seeking a professional Project Manager with a proven track record of running sophisticated product orders or larger system projects preferably in a manufacturing setting.
The role of the Repair Center PM is to plan, implement, and finalize complex projects according to scope, timeline and budget. This includes advising resources in a matrixed organization and coordinating the efforts of team members to ensure the timely delivery of projects to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives, participate in project planning during and after the sales cycle and lead all aspects of quality control throughout its life cycle.
This position will report to the New Kensington Repair Center Manger and will be onsite with some flexibility to work from home occasionally.
Responsibilities:
Manage complex medium to large projects to ensure that all scope and requirements are being met and fulfilled.
Maintain the relationship with the client and all partners including third parties, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Organize, develop, and maintain complex schedules that correspond to customer needs and requirements including estimating the necessary resources and participants to achieve project goals.
Proactively lead changes in project scope to improve success and minimize risk to the customer and the company.
Mitigate the risk evaluation to minimize project risks while applying Innomotics project process and management principles at all aspects of project scope and results.
Effectively communicate project expectations to both internal and external team members in a timely and clear fashion.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
Coordinate project expectations with team members. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
Lead process improvements within the Project Management team by driving a continuous improvement culture including e.g. reuse, collaboration, knowledge management, lessons learned and build best practices to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Your profile.
Proven record of 2-4 years as Project Management with experience with complex product orders or systems in the industrial/manufacturing sector
Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or relevant demonstrated proven experience with the responsibilities
Certified Project Management Professional is desired.
Technical understanding of variable frequency drives and motors is helpful
Previous experience with client-facing and internal presentation skills
Solid interpersonal skills including attention to detail, multi-tasking skills, time management and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
Experience with SAP and SIRIUS is desired
Up to 10% travel may be required
The pay range for this position is $71,300 - $122,300. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
