Service Scheduling Coordinator and/or BDC Representative Responsibilities
- Handle all incoming email, phone, text, and online chat leads related to service, body shop, and parts
- Responsible for making outbound calls to recent and potential service department customers
- Assist with coordinating means of transportation via Rental Cars, Shuttles, or Concierge Service
- Help contract customers in Rental Cars, prep vehicles for rent, and perform walk around vehicle check-ins
- Utilize CRM databases to track outbound communication with customers
- Calling customers to check on Customer Satisfaction with their visit, Safety Recalls, Appointment Reminders, and other types of calls
- Educate self on latest service & product offerings, including pricing and monthly specials
- Be available to respond to email inquiries in a professional, well-spoken manner
- Prepared to interact with customers via phone calls every day (similar to call center processes)
- Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet
- Check email frequently and respond to inquiries immediately
Service BDC Representative Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Tech-savvy and experience with a CRM or the ability to quickly learn new software
- Time management, prioritization and multitasking skills with the ability to manage a high workload
- Team player attitude
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Able to multitask
- Must be able to type very fast
- Previous appointment scheduling and customer service experience is preferred
- Prior automotive experience is preferred
