Job Summary:The Service Secretary at Colonial Ford will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients at our dealership in Danbury, Connecticut. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for customers, both in person and over the phone, and will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the service department.Compensation & Benefits:This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes a competitive benefits package.Responsibilities:- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department or individual- Schedule service appointments for customers- Coordinate loaner vehicles for customers- Check in and out customer vehicles for service appointments- Maintain accurate and organized service records and files- Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles during the service process- Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner- Assist service advisors and technicians with administrative tasks as needed- Ensure a clean and organized service waiting area for customers- Adhere to company policies and procedures- Perform other duties as assigned by managementRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- At least 1 year of previous customer service experience- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong organizational and time-management skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities- Familiarity with basic computer applications and knowledge of CDK a plus- Must be able to work well in a team environment- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends- Automotive industry experience preferred but not requiredEEOC Statement:Colonial Ford is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
