We are seeking a dedicated Service Manager to join our team to oversee our service department and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:The Service Shop Leader/Foreman will be responsible for managing daily shop operations and leading a team of RV service technicians. Key duties include:
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of service technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
- Diagnosing complex technical issues and providing effective solutions.
- Ensuring that all service work is performed in compliance with quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Training and mentoring service technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Managing inventory and ordering parts to ensure timely repairs.
- Communicating effectively with service advisors and customers to provide updates on repair status and recommendations.
- Monitoring shop productivity and implementing strategies to improve efficiency.
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Service Shop Leader or Foreman in the RV or automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical components.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- RVTI or RVDA certifications Highly Preferred, Master Certification Preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
