NOV Texas Oil Tools, the leading specialty manufacturer and supplier of well control equipment for intervention operations, is seeking a Service Technician for its Odessa, Texas location.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Familiar with Coiled Tubing Pressure Control Equipment (CTPCE) and be fully conversant with the assembly drawings and bill of materials - using only approved versions.
* Responsible for the safe assembly, testing and repair of assigned pressure control (CTPCE) under the direction of the supervisor.
* Produce product in a manner as to improve efficiency to achieve productivity and delivery goals.
* Notify the supervisor of any mistakes, omissions, or alterations necessary to drawings or bill of materials.
* Work in an orderly and organized manner, keeping the work area clean and always organized.
* Upkeep of tools and toolbox, reporting any losses or breakages to the supervisor and keeping the toolbox locked when not in use.
* Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
* Maintain a clean & organized work area, utilize safe work habits.
* Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
* Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must have experience and knowledge of mechanical assembly; basic blueprint reading skills and pressure control equipment (preferred).
* Solid understanding of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
* Forklift experience considered an asset.

* Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.
* Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily.
