Overview

Professional hands-on service, maintenance, installation, and repairs to customers beverage equipment. This position reports to the Operations Manager. Core Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. This role is required to be on call every third weekend. throughout the territory of Michigan and Northern Indiana. As the company grows, territories may need to be restructured as deemed necessary by BBC Management.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to (Other duties may be assigned). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

* Installation of pop systems within all BBC territories.

* Maintain all dispensing units involved within the BBC line; Test, diagnose and troubleshoot as needed.

* Provide training to customers: end users, management, etc. as needed and whenever needed. Assist with customer phone calls for questions and repairs.

* Providing service to accounts, which may include nights and weekend. Must return any customer calls, voice mails within 1-hour and connect with customers regarding equipment issues as quickly as possible, within that same business day.

* Maintain all dispensing units involved within the BBC line; maintain and test as needed.

* Responsible for weekly scheduling of service technicians. This is based off customer needs, PM's and partnering with customer service and purchasing to schedule new pop installs.

* Ordering of parts needed for upcoming installs and repairs. Coordinating with purchasing on these orders.

* Completes HR/OSHA training within guidelines provided. Always promote safe work habits and environment.

* Miscellaneous projects and tasks as needed or assigned, in support of BBC and/or Sales.

* Keeping BBC and affiliates business related issues confidential; Embrace and promote the Company Mission, Vision and Core Values.

* Responsible for timely responses and utilization of the communication tools available, arrive to work on time and ready to work at the assigned time. Attends, participates and arrives on time to meetings when scheduled.

* Employees are responsible for using their own tools needed to service accounts.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee team of Service Technicians.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid Drivers License; good driving record, Adherence to BBC Risk management.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Knowledge and experience of beverage system repairs is preferred but not required. Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Understanding add-on percent and margin percent.

REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is required to sit, stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75-100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance. Push and pull from 10-400 pounds, and operate auto scrubbers, vacuums, wet/dry vacs, extractors, sweepers, floor machines, and other janitorial cleaning equipment, and bar beverage equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Possible use of power tools such as drills and screwdrivers, and other hand tools, handling of batteries, chargers, motors, etc. Operating floor equipment such as buffers, auto scrubbers, vacuums, carpet extractors, dispensing systems, kitchen equipment, etc.
