Our client is seeking a Service Supervisor for their mid-Atlantic region. As a Supervisory member of the Equipment Services Group, this position will provide hands on leadership towards the highest industry standards for maintenance, service, equipment knowledge, operator performance and technology.Such supervisory leadership will be focused on maximizing equipment availability, utilization and production. Supervisory responsibility for equipment care will include safety and drill accessory care and utilization.This position also supports the Equipment Services Manager through periodically overseeing and supervising equipment mechanics during the PM and repair of drill equipment. - View safety as paramount and pro-actively identify safety hazards.- Perform effective JHAs.- Use and operate all hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner.- Supervise and support equipment maintenance, service and staff needs, including bit sharpening program for the area of assignment.- Supervise PM schedules and maintenance records, supported by the necessary parts inventory as established by the ESG.- Supervise and manage the accurate inventory and amount of necessary parts for region.- Supervise, train, and manage the required maintenance documents and records.- Supervise the development of the Drill Trainees and Drill Operators to understand and comply with all maintenance activities required for safe, efficient operation of assigned equipment.- Ensure that the Trainee/Drill Operator understands the importance of communication of any problem to the Blaster/Foreman.- Advise senior level management of potential worksite problems, work performance problems, scheduling difficulties, etc. assist in preventing/resolving such issues as required.- Maintain liaison with other departments, Purchasing, Engineering, and so on, as required to support operating schedule.- Possess the physical agility to perform above job functions plus perform all drilling activity as required.- Replace and repair broken equipment.- Perform PM on equipment.- Trouble shoot mechanical equipment and systems such as motors, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components.- Follow and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.- Other duties as assignedAnnual profit share/bonus opportunity.
