ELEVATOR SERVICE TECHNICIAN

What You'll Be Doing

• Performing routine and emergency service on elevators, including troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Investigating and resolving operational issues of electric, mechanical, and hydraulic nature in elevators, dumbwaiters, and wheelchair lifts.
• Conducting preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure elevators operate efficiently and adhere to safety regulations and OSHA standards.
• Carrying out annual safety tests on elevators to guarantee proper operation of safety devices.
• Assessing existing equipment and proposing modifications to optimize elevator system performance.

What We're Looking For

• Certified Elevator Technician license or State-Issued Elevator Mechanic License.
• Experience in complex maintenance, repair, servicing, and troubleshooting of elevators and related equipment.
• Strong ability to diagnose electric, mechanical, and hydraulic issues related to elevator operations.
• Attention to detail in conducting preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Expertise in evaluating the suitability and performance of current and new elevator equipment.
