Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is On-Site at the location detailed in the job post.Full-TimeDescriptionJob Responsibilities and DutiesPerform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment and established Ag Management Solutions productsParticipates in Service Educate Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledgeMaintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive productsMaintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipmentMaintains clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashionFollows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignmentsCompletes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignmentsAccounts for all time on a time card and for all material used in performing assigned dutiesAdditional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesExperience, Skills, and Knowledge1+ years in performing service repairsAbility to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual proceduresProficient knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in the repair of agricultural and turf equipmentAbility to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposesAbility to lift 50-75 lbs. repeatedly on a daily basis and more on occasionAbility to perform duties in extreme seasonal temperaturesAbility to climb and stand for extended time in a safe manner on big/tall equipment while performing repairsAbility to go on Service Calls when needed, a valid driver's license is requiredBe available to complete long term repairs on a customer's equipment in a timely mannerForklift certified preferredAbility to use Service Advisor and basic computer functionsProficient oral and written skillsClimb up on equipment and in smaller spaces in equipment to make repairs**This is a safety sensitive position
