Come join a great team Role and Responsibilities As a technician you will be an integral part of operations by diagnosing, repairing, and providing planned maintenance on a range of commercial kitchen appliances including, but not limited to, cooking, refrigeration, dishwashing equipment, and/or HVAC Occasional operation of heavy machinery Frequently driving, backing up, and navigating trucks with various trailers Manage and prioritize several projects simultaneously Utilize basic hand and power tools to complete projects Ability to travel to multiple locations throughout the Puget Sound region Produce accurate and timely administrative documents, such as work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventory Utilizes ticketing system to communicate with Restaurant Manager and staff to keep them informed of estimated timelines for repair of equipment Willing to be involved with emergency on-call rotation, including night and weekends Other Building Maintenance including internal building, and grounds repairs. Requirements: Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent time management skills Positive can-do attitude Solid communication skills including interpersonal skills, team communication, and working with partners and clients. Strong work ethic Proven customer service skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to read English and comprehend instructions Self-Starter/works well independently Clean driving record Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. 2 years of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC Relevant training, licenses, or certifications preferred Work Environment Prolonged periods standing, walking, and working around kitchen equipment Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times. Must be comfortable working long hours, including nights and weekends.
