Service Technician

This Service Technician position will be working with our Pre-Engineered Service Team. Primary responsibilities include the testing and maintenance of pre-engineered fire protection systems such as commercial restaurant fire suppression systems. In addition to working with these systems, this position will also be responsible to inspecting and maintaining commercial fire extinguishers and emergency and exit lights. Our Service Technicians ensure all equipment is in proper working order and meets the standards set forth by NFPA, and Fireline.

* Willingness to work early morning hours to meet customer schedules.
* Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record to be able to meet specific criteria defined by our vehicle insurance carriers.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
* Fireline is a drug-free company. Employees will be required to take a drug test at the time of hire and periodically throughout their employment. This will include the testing of cannabinoids (marijuana), opiates, amphetamines, and methamphetamines. Fireline is a DOT regulated business working in the life safety industry and per DOT rule 49 CFR Part.
* Be comfortable working in different environments as our technicians work indoors and outdoors.
* The ability to read, speak, sit, stand, walk, use your hands, reach, climb ladders, and occasionally lift to 50 lbs and climb a ladder at minimum 10 ft.
