Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team, supporting both field operations and local office needs. This role involves scheduling and performing preventative maintenance, installations, and repairs on lab instruments, ensuring optimal performance for both warranty and post-warranty equipment. Occasional support outside the assigned territory may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all mandatory training on flow cytometers and other lab instruments in the territory.
- Interpret instrument performance data and take corrective actions to enhance performance.
- Independently repair instruments of moderate complexity, meeting service metrics.
- Demonstrate professionalism in customer interactions, contributing to high satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional appearance and communication style, fostering positive team collaboration.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor's in Electronics, Engineering, or related fields is a plus.
- Experience: 2+ years troubleshooting and repairing lab instruments or components.
- Skills: Technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, detail-oriented, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Assets: Flow Cytometry experience and prior electronic or Field Service Engineer experience preferred.
