Action Overhead Garage Door, a family-owned and operated business since 1980, seeks a Service Technician to join our team. This role involves installing residential and commercial garage doors, door openers, and keyless entry systems in both new and existing buildings.
We offer a starting hourly rate of $20-$28 (depending on experience) and a great benefits package.

Requirements:Essential Functions:
· Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
· Maintain clean and safe job sites.
· Prepare materials with warehouse staff.
· Coordinate with the Service Coordinator for scheduling.
· Understand product manuals before installation.
· Review work orders for accuracy.
· Ensure the truck is ready for daily operations.
· Record installation details on work orders.
· Promote a positive company image.
· Participate in safety programs.
· Comply with all policies and procedures.
· Learn new products and follow managerial directions.
Qualifications:
· High School diploma or GED
· Strong work ethic and customer service skills
· Clean driving record and ability to pass drug screening and background check.
· Mechanical skills with hand and power tools.
· Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
· Proficient in English
Work Conditions:
· Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
· Travel around the Metro Area, including the Twin Cities.
· Use standard installation tools.
· Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and heavy traffic conditions.
Physical Requirements:
· Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands.
· Lifting and moving up to 80 pounds regularly.
