Job Description
The Technician - Service 2 is responsible for working on various vending/fountain equipment.
What your day will look like:
* Performing mechanical service on cold drink equipment
* Installing mechanical components
* Customer interaction
* Inventory control
* Microsoft Office/Mobilizer
* Maintain Company vehicle
* Cross training
* Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed:
* Minimum age 18 years old
* Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
* Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
* Ability to read, write and speak English
* Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
* Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
* Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
* One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 24 to 48 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* A minimum of 2-4 years knowledge of Cold Drink Equipment or appliance repair needed. Ability to read wiring diagrams, repair manuals, and use a Multi-Meter
* Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
* Basic Equipment Service Training (BEST)/ Automated Beverage System (ABS)/ Advanced ABS/ Hot Beverage and Coca-Cola Freestyle (CCFS) training with a passing mark through approved Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) instructor
* Refrigeration Certification Type 1 required
* Knowledge of electrical theory and practical applications
* Ability to analyze and problem solve to respond and resolve any customer issues
* Ability to work with all functional team members
* Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred
* Use hand and power tools
* Frequent sitting
* Continuous bending, kneeling/squatting, overhead reaching, grasping, fine manipulation, and exposure to chemical and weather
* Repeated standing, walking, climbing stairs, typing/keyboard, vehicle operation, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying - up to 50 lbs., and exposure to water and noise
