Job DescriptionGPAC is a national executive search firm that has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Lead Service Technician. This client is a design engineering, fabrication and self-perform mechanical contractor in the greater Nashville market. Ideal candidate for the Lead Service Technician position will have 3+ years of experience in similar role. This position will require you to travel to the Nashville and Middle Tennessee area. Primary responsibilities for the Lead Service Technician position include:
- Conduct regular maintenance of HVAC equipment.
- Accurately diagnose HVAC equipment and BAS equipment
- Prepare documents detailing work orders and repair procedures.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to diagnose problems that arise.
- Repair or replace defective components of the HVAC equipment.
- Perform installations of new HVAC systems and upgrades
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with clients and staff.
Primary qualifications for the Lead Service Technician include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification as an HVAC Service Technician
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to pass a background check
