Your daily responsibilities of this role include assembling new automated/control valves. You will be an essential part of the success of AWC, completing each function properly and exceeding our customers expectations.The Rewards

The Job:
  • Assemble and calibrate automation and control valve packages, ensuring precision and functionality.
  • Analyze valve problems and choose corrective action.
  • Read and interpret schematics for assembly, repair and reassembly as required.
  • Work meticulously within tight tolerances to ensure product quality and performance.
  • Read drawings, job orders, tooling instructions, or standard charts to execute tasks accurately.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to quality and safety to avoid rejections and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet critical deadlines.
  • Contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance output, quality, and delivery through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Possess knowledgeable in bolt torquing techniques to ensure proper valve assembly.
  • Ability to work in a shop atmosphere and outside in customer owned facilities, delivering top-notch service.
Qualifications:
  • Technical Degree or 2+ year of valve experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to use Vernier calipers.
  • Possess knowledge of and safely use basic hand tools for valve maintenance.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, enabling clear and concise interaction with colleagues and clients.
