  • Responsible for assisting in maintenance of grounds, common areas, and apartment homes in your assigned community; delivering exceptional and prompt service; and treating all community members with respect
  • Comply with all OSHA regulations and health/safety policies and procedures; adhere to EPA regulations and update property log; and report all unsafe activities or incidents
  • Support expense control by fixing rather than replacing, when applicable
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy; utilize the Market-Ready Inspection form to ensure accuracy of market-ready units
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Maintain pool area in the community
  • Complete service requests in an efficient manner
  • Conduct daily property walks and remove litter, debris, and pet waste
  • Responsible for snow/ice removal of community including walkways, sidewalks, and parking lots
  • Assist Service Manager in maintaining shop and supply inventories in adherence to the annual budget; communicate needs to Service Manager
  • Deliver consistent excellent customer service that yields guest satisfaction through positive ratings and community reviews
Requirements
  • One year related experience
  • HVAC/EPA Certification preferred
  • Proficiency with various hand and power tools
  • Experience with appliance, electrical, drywall, and/or plumbing repairs
  • Ability to work flexible work schedules including on-call rotations, after hours, and weekends when needed
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable transportation
