Job DescriptionThe Technician - Service 2 is responsible for working on various vending/fountain equipment.
What your day will look like: - Performing mechanical service on cold drink equipment
- Installing mechanical components
- Customer interaction
- Inventory control
- Microsoft Office/Mobilizer
- Maintain Company vehicle
- Cross training
- Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed: - Minimum age 18 years old
- Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 24 to 48 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 2-4 years knowledge of Cold Drink Equipment or appliance repair needed. Ability to read wiring diagrams, repair manuals, and use a Multi-Meter
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
- Basic Equipment Service Training (BEST)/ Automated Beverage System (ABS)/ Advanced ABS/ Hot Beverage and Coca-Cola Freestyle (CCFS) training with a passing mark through approved Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) instructor
- Refrigeration Certification Type 1 required
- Knowledge of electrical theory and practical applications
- Ability to analyze and problem solve to respond and resolve any customer issues
- Ability to work with all functional team members
- Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred
- Use hand and power tools
- Frequent sitting
- Continuous bending, kneeling/squatting, overhead reaching, grasping, fine manipulation, and exposure to chemical and weather
- Repeated standing, walking, climbing stairs, typing/keyboard, vehicle operation, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying - up to 50 lbs., and exposure to water and noise
