Job Description:Automotive Service TechnicianThe Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, inspecting and repairing our service customer's vehicles and our used vehicle trade-ins, purchased vehicles and new vehicle inventory preps. Must be able to follow specific processes set my management and do quality work in a timely manner. Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities:o Correctly diagnose customer concerns using the latest administrative and technical tools providedo Ensure that courtesy is shown toward all fellow employees & customers with whom you interacto Keep up to date with all technical publications, Service communicationso Make every reasonable effort to ensure safe & clean work environment and be able to perform work correctly the first time for our customerso Be able to perform excellent inspections and recommendations based on vehicle condition (mileage, wear & tear, etc.) o Ensure the customers vehicle is returned as clean, or cleaner than when it arrivedo Participate in any Factory, or in-house sponsored training programs offered to youo Complete all paperwork/computer communication completely and correctly in a timely mannero Perform any other duties assigned by the Service Manager/Shop Foremano Be able to arrive to work on time, ready to work, and in a clean uniformJob Requirements:Ideal candidates will have:Experience in performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair service on various vehicle makes and models.Proven track record of achieving or over-achieving goalsOutstanding communication skillsProfessional appearance and work ethicGreat attitude with a high-energy personalitySuperior customer service skillsAbility to read and comprehend instructionsAbility to exercise good judgementValid State drivers license and good driving recordRequired Education:High school diploma or equivalentMust have technical aptitude displayed by ASE certificationTechnical or trade school degree preferredCompensation:We offer competitive pay, health, paid vacation, paid holidays, and a professional work environment.Become a member of a winning team that offers growth opportunity, excellent earning potential and leadership that appreciates your drive, skills and ability.When you join our organization, you'll enjoy comprehensive training, competitive compensation, and unparalleled benefits.
