Position Summary:
This role involves troubleshooting, problem-solving, performing preventative maintenance, and servicing and repairing machine tools both at customer locations and within the company facility. The incumbent is expected to execute all tasks with a focus on quality, efficiency, and timeliness while collaborating effectively with team members. The position also requires making recommendations for process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machine tools.
• Efficiently install machines and tooling to high-quality standards.
• Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain high standards in all work performed.
• Train and instruct customers and internal team members on installation and service/repair
procedures for current and new equipment.
• Document all actions and findings accurately using service software, ensuring reports are
completed the same day or within 24 hours.
• Collaborate with team members, internal departments, and external vendors to address
installation and service/repair issues.
• Continuously evaluate current processes to identify improvement opportunities,
recommending modifications to machines, equipment, and procedures as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding arrival times, progress updates, and
departure notifications.
• Pursue ongoing skill development through education, seminars, company training, and
relevant reading materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and care of all company property.
• Support other departmental functions or work areas as business needs arise.
Working Conditions:

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, potentially loud
equipment, and various non-hazardous and hazardous chemicals.
• Hands-on work with machine tools, involving LCD viewing and data entry.
• Internal and external communications with customers, vendors, and suppliers.

Essential Requirements:
• Associate's degree or certification in troubleshooting, repair, and installation of CNC
machine tools.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in troubleshooting, installation, and repair of machine
tool products.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with the ability to operate a company
service vehicle or personal vehicle for business purposes.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, maintaining professionalism in interactions
with customers, peers, and suppliers.
• Self-motivated with effective planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team across various departments.
• Proficiency in using PCs and job-related software for documentation and record-keeping.
• Physical requirements include continuous bending, standing, climbing, and the ability to
lift up to 50 lbs (greater weights with assistance).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed by
customers.
• Ability to travel for training and support out-of-state or international customers, with the
capability to obtain and maintain a valid passport.
• Must be able to obtain a major credit card (e.g., American Express, Visa, or MasterCard)
based on personal credit history for business expenses and travel..
