Come help us protect what matters most!B Safe Security is looking for an experienced Service Technician in our Toms River, NJ branch.Position Summary: The ideal candidate will have experience installing, servicing, and inspecting fire, burglar, access control, and CCTV systems.Duties & Responsibilities:•Installation, service, and inspection of security alarms and associated low voltage systems•System testing and inspecting to the prescribed standards•Make connections and required adjustments as directed; test operation of all components of each system to the signal-receiving center•Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers security equipment•Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports•Ensuring a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication•Maintains a clean and safe work environment on and off site•Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management•Ability to use a variety of hand tools•Perform other duties as requiredEducation & Required Skills:•High School Diploma / GED•2+ years of experience required•Familiarity with one or more of the following product lines; Honeywell, DSC, Napco, Hikvision, 3xlogic, CDVI, Speco, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP preferred•Ability to install, inspect, or service security alarms•Must have experience in installation or servicing of security cameras, CCTV, access control•Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)•Excellent written and verbal communication skills•Must read and speak English•Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized•Must have clean driving record and a valid Driver's LicenseExperience:•Required: 2+ years of experience in installations, service, and / or inspections•NICET Certification, or NJ State Burglar and Fire License preferred but not requiredIn 1978, our company's founder and current president, Phillip Gardner, built a security system for his parents' home after it was burglarized.
