Job DescriptionThe Technician - Service Lead is responsible for installing electrical components onto machines, testing, and repairing vending, merchandising and fountain equipment. This position will provide leadership and training to other Service Techs.
What your day will look like:- Performing mechanical service on cold drink equipment
- Installing electrical/mechanical components
- Customer interaction
- Inventory control
- Microsoft Office/Mobilizer
- Maintain Company vehicle
- Lead training
- Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed:- Minimum age 18 years old
- Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 4 year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 4 years of knowledge of Cold Drink Equipment and/or appliance repair needed. Must be experienced in reading wiring diagrams, repair manuals and use of a Multi-Meter
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
- Basic Equipment Service Training (BEST)/ Automated Beverage System (ABS)/ Advanced ABS/ Hot Beverage and Coca-Cola Freestyle (CCFS) training with a passing mark through approved Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) instructor
- Type 1 Refrigeration Certification required
- Experienced in Electrical Theory and practical applications
- SAP knowledge preferred
- Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred
- Proven leadership and training ability
- Ability to analyze and problem solve to resolve any customer issues
- Ability to work with all functional team members
- Frequent sitting
- Continuous bending, kneeling/squatting, overhead reaching, grasping, fine manipulation, and exposure to chemicals and weather
- Repeated standing, walking, climbing stairs, typing/keyboard, vehicle operation, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying - up to 50 lbs., and exposure to water and noise
