If you have a passion for helping others, join us in a $65 billion industry dedicated to creating impactful community experiences.Discover your purpose - work in rental!Position Overview:As a representative of Mobile Air, you will be an essential team member responsible for coordinating the delivery, installation, and servicing of our rental equipment. Higher-level technicians will possess advanced skills in troubleshooting air-cooled chillers and large tonnage HVAC equipment, including setup and repair.Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders received from the sales department or branch manager, ensuring timely fulfillment and delivery.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences that encourage repeat business.
- Install equipment as necessary.
- For heating equipment, run temporary hoses to connect with natural gas or propane sources.
- Install flexible ductwork as needed for temporary applications.
- Utilize appropriate PPE and fall protection as required at all times.
- Perform initial equipment startup and necessary service repairs.
- Retrieve equipment from customer locations upon completion of rentals, documenting the returned items.
- Conduct equipment reconditioning per established work instructions and complete required checklists.
- Safely store equipment in the branch warehouse.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Duties for Higher-Level Technicians:
- Clean chillers and large air conditioning equipment.
- Retrieve required accessories from inventory for shipping with chiller or large AC orders.
- Aid in the loading of chillers and large air conditioning equipment.
- Start up and troubleshoot oil-fired heating equipment.
- Diagnose and repair air conditioning equipment, including refrigerant circuit management.
- Support the installation of air-cooled chillers and large package HVAC rental units.
Requirements:
- Experience levels range from 0-5 years.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A 2-year HVAC certificate and/or Universal Refrigeration Certificate or equivalent experience is preferred for higher-level technicians.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products or similar software; familiarity with MRP or Rental software is a plus.
- Must pass a DOT physical and drug test to operate company vehicles.
- Valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. of equipment using Mobile Air's safe lifting practices.
- Strong customer service aptitude, effective communication skills, and mechanical knowledge.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
Work Schedule:This position may require working a rotating on-call schedule and being available for evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons. Travel may also be necessary. Overtime and double-time pay rates apply for applicable hours worked.Benefits:
