Tom Wood Powersports, located in Whiteland, Indiana, is seeking a full-time, experienced Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses a passion for both mechanics and outdoor recreation, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Diagnose complex problems on multiple manufacturer's products by using latest diagnostic equipment
* Complete complex repairs within timelines specified by the manufacturer and dealership.
* Perform routine maintenance and assembly of new units
* Perform additional functions in the dealership as needed, including but not limited to service writing, parts counter assistance, unit pickup and delivery, and assisting apprentice techs as needed
* Attend periodic training in remote locations as well as on-site
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Valid driver's license with a CLEAN driving record
* Formal training, preferably with one of the major metric motorcycle manufacturers and or MMI.
* You should have your own tools and a minimum of three years of experience working in a franchised dealership setting.
* Must have a sales and customer service attitude and aptitude and be able to communicate professionally with customers
