OverviewGovCIO is currently hiringfor a ServiceNow Developer-ITSM to operate, maintain, and enhance the ServiceNow ITSM platform for a small Federal Government agency. This position will be located in Washington, DC and will be a fully remote position.ResponsibilitiesGuides ITSM strategy, planning, and service delivery to emphasize efficiency and effectiveness.Contributes ITSM-related recommendations for implementation consideration spanning across service management policies, guidelines, and processes.Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with remote teams and clientsDesign and develop queries, reports and dashboardsDesign and configure ServiceNow modules and formsAdminister ServiceNow applications, including updating security and workflow configurationsDesign and develop scoped applications as well as a service portalProvide additional support based on subject matter expertiseQualificationsBachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)Required Skills and ExperienceServiceNow Administrator CertificationMinimum of 6 years of overall IT experienceMinimum of 6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer in various rolesThorough knowledge of the ServiceNow SystemExperience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jelly, HTTP, XMLExperience in REST, SOAP services, etcAn understanding of ITIL and/or ITIL CertifiedStrong communication skills (written and verbal), strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitudePreferred Skills and ExperienceITIL Foundation CertifiedServiceNow Developer CertificationsServiceNow Certified Implementation SpecialistClearance Required:Must be able to acquire and maintain a Public Trust SuitabilityCompany OverviewGovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
