We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to collaborate with team members to identify paper-based workflows and facilitate their automation. This 6+ month contract position will be hybrid, in Trenton, NJ.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with client's staff to identify and document current activities and determine if these activities can be streamlined.
Gain consensus on the streamlined approach and build these processes into ServiceNow.
Identify reports, SLAs, and KPIs to measure performance and timeliness.
Possess an understanding of available business rules, triggers, criteria, and actions to construct these workflows' automations effectively.
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or similar field.
At least 7 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst
At least 2 years of experience automating workflows within a Service Management application such as ServiceNow.
At least 2 years of experience documenting processes within Vizio or similar application.
At least 2 years of experience with ITIL process improvement model.
Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong technical problem-solving skills and experience
Preferred:
Knowledge of automating workflows within ServiceNow
Ability to identify value added steps and eliminate non-value-added steps in workflows
Experience identifying and establishing KPIs and reports
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
