Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to collaborate with team members to identify paper-based workflows and facilitate their automation. This 6+ month contract position will be hybrid, in Trenton, NJ.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with client's staff to identify and document current activities and determine if these activities can be streamlined.

  • Gain consensus on the streamlined approach and build these processes into ServiceNow.

  • Identify reports, SLAs, and KPIs to measure performance and timeliness.

  • Possess an understanding of available business rules, triggers, criteria, and actions to construct these workflows' automations effectively.

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or similar field.

  • At least 7 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst

  • At least 2 years of experience automating workflows within a Service Management application such as ServiceNow.

  • At least 2 years of experience documenting processes within Vizio or similar application.

  • At least 2 years of experience with ITIL process improvement model.

  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and experience

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of automating workflows within ServiceNow

  • Ability to identify value added steps and eliminate non-value-added steps in workflows

  • Experience identifying and establishing KPIs and reports

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

  • Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
