PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. Position reports to and works with the President.Position Overview:As a Product Manager you will evaluate Industrial applications, provide product solutions, and strive to foster a strong relationship with our Vendor Partners.Key Responsibilities:•Provide technical and sales support•Go on sales calls and schedule appointments with potential new Morrell accounts•Help provide technical training at 2 product training meetings (PTM) per year•Establish root cause of possible failures to machines and plan corrective action with the right product of applications•Achieve mutually agreed upon annual corporate sales goals for all products applicable to the industrial market•Provide training to Morrell sales staff relative to applications and products•Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers•Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization•Perform other duties as assignedSKILLS & ABILITIES:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is sedentary. Typically the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some movement from area to area, transporting of items such as a laptop computer, printers, servers, paper, books, and small parts; driving an automobile, etc.WORK ENVIRONMENT:While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to general office environment. Overnight travel may be required, but seldom; work outside normal business hours is required from time to time.RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and/or abilities required. An individual must meet the minimum requirements as listed in each Qualifications subsection.EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
EXPERIENCE:
  • 1-5 years industry experience minimum
