This is a potential to hire position for 2nd or 3rd shift. Apply today!Set-Up Technician Responsibilities: - Setting up, tearing down and maintaining extrusion tooling and single and twin screw extruders - Operating forklift - Conducting quality control checks against set-up sheets, procedures, and work instructions; utilizing different measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures - Completing extrusion dimensional charts, check sheets, and required documentation; responsible for updating set-up sheets and documentation as required - Troubleshooting extrusion problems and providing assistance to associates on other lines when needed - Making cartons, skids, and tooling preparations for the next orderRequirements for Set-Up Technician: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively - Ability to stand for full shift - Basic math and measurement skills - Ability to work in hot environments - Ability to climb up and down platforms/stairs - Ability to speak, read and write in EnglishQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
