Job Title: Set Up TechnicianJob DescriptionThis position is responsible for performing mold changes and ensuring that machines operate efficiently within designated parameters, meeting production schedules. The role involves working with thermoforming and injection molding machines in a rapidly expanding environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform mold changes and ensure efficient machine operation.Comply with all company and statutory safety rules to ensure the wellbeing of all departmental employees.Maintain the housekeeping of designated working area and machines.Continually inspect manufactured products both visually and dimensionally per quality plan.Start up machines to manufacture products that meet or exceed quality standards.Monitor equipment and processes to detect and correct problems affecting quality and efficiency.Diagnose problems and replace or repair parts within the scope of the position, making adjustments to ensure maximum efficiencies during shift operations.Perform and document maintenance on equipment as required by the maintenance plan.Communicate mold conditions to the mold shop.Understand the manufacturing processes and your role within them.Essential SkillsInjection molding and process experience.Direct experience with injection molding.Previous exposure to injection molding.Experience with automated equipment in an injection molding manufacturer.Ability to troubleshoot issues and work with the maintenance team.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical skills.Experience with mold change, tooling, and blueprint reading.Knowledge of mold repair and mold tooling.Why Work Here?Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, and various health-related plans such as HRA, FSA, life insurance, AD&D, cancer, and critical illness coverage.
