We're seeking a motivated Settlement Analyst I or II to join our innovative team. In this position, you'll play a key role in ensuring seamless market and transmission settlements, all while collaborating with industry experts and contributing to exciting developments in the field! What You'll Do:
- Daily Operations: Support daily market or transmission settlement production activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Validation & Compliance: Perform pre- and post-settlement validations of billing determinants and settlement statements, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations.
- Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain and update procedures for market or transmission settlement processes, tracking progress and ensuring accuracy.
- Client Support: Address client inquiries and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring accurate settlements.
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Utilize your analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and provide insightful financial analysis.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with the Supervisor, Manager, and Director of Settlements on special projects, enhancements, and new product testing.
- Stay Informed: Develop a deep understanding of market protocols and SPP tariffs to meet settlement obligations effectively.

- Bachelor's Degree
- Level II: Two years job related experience (Four years of relevant job-related experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement)
- Level I: No experience required (Two years of relevant job-related experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and PPT.
- Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus
- Knowledge of electric utility industry
- Knowledge of computer business applications and data base management systems
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of workweek are Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Working extended hours may be required. Position Location: This is a hybrid position with a requirement for a minimum of 2-3 days onsite in Little Rock, Arkansas. Travel Requirement: This position requires minimal travel (approximately 10%).
