Description
We are seeking a skilled drain technician to join our team. As a drain technician, you will install, repair, and maintain drain systems for residential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
The big task
Diagnose and repair drain issues and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions.
Responsibilities
* Complete all drain clearing, jetting, and cable work related to in-home, service calls.
* Provide camera service for every mainline stoppage.
* Know how to establish customer rapport to provide the right products and services.
* Educate and assist customers on the importance of sewer repair and replacement.
* Help customers select a maintenance plan and understand warranties and financing options.
* Explain reasons for blockage and illustrate how you will resolve the issue.
* Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
* Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
* Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure the business's overall success.
* Participate actively in all training exercises and meetings.
* Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs.

Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years experience as a drain technician technician
* Strong knowledge of plumbing systems
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and customer service skills
