We are partnering with our client in search of a Senior Financial Analyst. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you'll work under the direction of the Director of FPRA and CFO. Your responsibilities will include developing annual operating budgets, managing contract refunding applications, and monitoring government and privately funded programs for fiscal compliance. - Collaborate with the Director of FPRA and CFO to create annual operating budgets.
- Manage contract refunding applications for government and privately funded programs.
- Support the Director of FPRA as a backup Fiscal Officer for Early Childhood Education contracts.
- Build financial reporting capabilities.
- Provide key insights to drive sound fiscal decision-making.
Requirements:
- Ability to interpret and apply accounting theory to transactions.
- Proficiency in numerical detail and creating useful management reports.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- 4 years of relevant work experience with government contracts and grants.
- Budgeting experience related to budget preparation, reporting, monitoring, and shared cost allocation.
- Preferred experience in non-profit, healthcare, or education settings.
- Familiarity with grant and/or fund accounting.
