The SharePoint Administrator will manage all function and activity of the University SharePoint and Web Services software. SharePoint administrator includes web maintenance, troubleshooting site issues, developing web parts, solutions, and analyzing all user activity within the Universities Colleges/Departments. SharePoint administrator delegates tasks in SharePoint environment. They will provide support, guide the university SharePoint and Web users, ensures functionality, updates the software as necessary, and addresses and resolves any issues with the software performance. **This position will be 3 days in office and 2 days remote. ***There will also be a presentation of your HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills, if selected to interview. Minimum Qualifications • Oversees activity pertaining to the maintenance of SharePoint. • Customizes SharePoint site for university purposes. • Monitors SharePoint software for any glitches or problems. Troubleshoots issues promptly. • Manages and revises the layout of the site. • Analyzes daily user activity on SharePoint. Maintains records of SharePoint updates, maintenance, and activity. • Reports to web manager with updates and information about SharePoint use. • Provides technical support for SharePoint users. • Addresses questions or concerns from department chairs, deans or directors regarding the function of the software. • Develop Web look Intranet Portal Collaboration Intranet Site and Branding on SharePoint platform or using Live Tiles solution. • Build new landing page, department templates/pages, newsletter, banner and videos accessible to any device. • Implement, deploy, package and maintain new intranet portal site and SharePoint site. • Use SharePoint Framework SPx to create website designs with OOTB. Additional Considerations • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field is required. • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a SharePoint developer role using SharePoint online/O365 and SharePoint on Premise 2013/2016. • Experience in SharePoint framework, building sites in hybrid environments, developing and administrating. • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately. • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. • Ability to be flexible, resourceful, organized and work in a fast-paced business environment with special requests. • Strong project management skills. • Must have expertise building and/or maintaining collaboration sites and/or programs. • Excellent knowledge around UI/UX. • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. • Basic knowledge and understanding of SDLC process, performing unit testing, and packing to deploy from DEV to PROD. • Experience in Content Management System for Web Maintenance for University Website. • Code pages using HTML5, JavaScript, and Typescript, jQuery, CSS, SQL, Bootstrap or responsive design for all devices.
