Knowesis is currently seeking a SharePoint Administrator to join our team providing support to the Defense Health Agency. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of SharePoint architecture, administration, maintenance, and migrations; and be responsible for user administration and customer support functions.
This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers and site administrators, and ensuring seamless SharePoint/Microsoft technical solutions.

The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Provide day to day operation, administration, configuration, and development of the SharePoint environment and ecosystem. This includes intra- and internet portals, extranets, and team sites.
* Assist with updates and enhancements in testing and integration of any related tools and supplemental web parts used throughout the production life cycle.
* Administer, support, and configuration of the SharePoint environments, which include team sites, external site and extranets.
* Develop, configure and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists and site collections.
* Provide management of SharePoint end user accounts, permissions and access rights in accordance with the best practices regarding privacy and security.
* Support end users with all SharePoint related issues.
* Update training materials and provide training to users with varying levels of skills.
* Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with users, stakeholders, and customers.
* Participate in testing and validation activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Expertise in managing SharePoint farms, site collections, and tenant administration.
* Proficiency in SharePoint configuration and security management (permissions, user profiles, etc.).
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
* Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
* Expert knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2013/2016/2019.
* Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell, Power Automate, PowerApps.
* Understanding of SharePoint architecture, including Web Services, REST APIs, CSOM, JSOM, and SOAP.
* Exposure to Microsoft Graph API, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps.
* Knowledge of database management and integration using SQL Server.
* Experience with Microsoft 365 tools and services (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange).
* Extensive hands-on experience with ShareGate for content and environment migrations between SharePoint On-Premises and SharePoint Online.
Preferred Certifications:
* Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate
* Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science desired
