Job Description SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking to hire a talented SharePoint Specialist/Administrator to create and support customized and out of the box SharePoint solutions. The SharePoint Specialist/Architect will be responsible for the overall construction, support & maintenance of our Enterprise SharePoint environment(s), including the Corporate Intranet platform (SP Online).This position requires knowledge and experience with various SharePoint versions including SharePoint 2010, 2016, 2019 and Office 365/SP Online. The immediate need is for expertise with SPFx and migration planning and execution. Responsibilities will include: •SharePoint 2019/SP Online development experience, including the creation/development of custom SPFx solutions •SharePoint Application development life cycle planning, architecture, construction, implementation, packaging, and deployment •Use SharePoint Framework SPFx to create custom applications using SharePoint •Must be proficient with NodeJS, NPM, HTML5, JavaScript, JSON, React, Typescript, CSS, SQL, responsive design •Must understand API creation using NodeJS and how to deploy solutions •Create and evolve best practices, standards and guidelines for the architecting, management, and utilization of SharePoint solutions •Build custom forms and workflows with Nintex •Troubleshooting and resolve SharePoint issues •Provide SharePoint support and end-user training •SharePoint Technical lead/advisor •Use SharePoint Framework SPFx to create website designs with OOTB, UI extension, page layouts, themes, and display templates. •Code pages using HTML5, JavaScript, and Typescript, jQuery, CSS, SQL, Bootstrap or responsive design for all devices. •Create web parts, lists/library, content types, site columns, master pages, search navigation, permissions, and data management •Lead all migration activities from SP 2010/2016 using Sharegate. •Must have expertise building and/or maintaining collaboration sites Minimum Qualifications 1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of study; and 2. Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems and applications. Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years). Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experience. 3. Broad knowledge and expertise in the characteristics of computers, peripheral devices, communications systems and hardware capabilities, programming languages, E.D.P. applications, systems analysis methodology, data management and retrieval techniques; or 4. A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education and experience. Department Preferences
  • Bachelor's degree or higher with 5-8 years of experience with SharePoint technologies.
  • Five (5)years minimum of extensive SharePoint experience
  • COMPUTER PROGRAMS/SOFTWARE OPERATED:PC and/or OS operating systems; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Expertise with implementing, configuring, and testing solutions
  • Technical background and experience in SharePoint development
  • IT architecture, infrastructure, security, cloud development
  • Advanced level knowledge of the full application development life cycle and all associated technologies
  • Preferred 3 years of experience in a SharePoint developer role using SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online/O365
  • Preferred 3 years' experience developing webparts (SPFx) and UI extensions like application customizers, field customizers, and custom web part
  • Experience creating SharePoint out of the box apps or collaborative tools to include lists, document/form libraries, discussion boards, survey's calendars, the ribbon, web parts, workflows, etc.
  • Experience in SharePoint framework, building sites in hybrid environments, developing and administrating
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to be flexible, resourceful, organized and work in a fast-paced business environment with special requests
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of SDLC process, performing unit testing, and packaging to deploy from DEV to PROD
  • Must be able to write documentation that fully supports any code that is written.
  • Must be able to brainstorm with others, thrive in a collaborative team environment, multitask, and quickly adapt to change
