Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a client in the manufacturing industry looking to hire a Shear Operator in their plant in Wood Dale, IL! The shift is 6am – 2:30pm, M-F.
Responsibilities
· Operating Wysong Shear
· Filling machines with oil
· Taking care of scrap metal
· Working with steel, aluminum, and other types of metal.

Qualifications:
Must have:
· 6 months of shear operating experience.
o Weld-Seam has mechanical shears, specifically Wysong Shears.
o Any kind of shear operating experience is applicable, mechanical preferred.
· Experience working with tight tolerances.
o Weld-Seam's products have a tolerance of +/- 0.02in. We need someone who has experience with something close.
· Ability to read a ruler, down to 1/8 of an inch.
· Ability to work with decimals in relation to length measurements.
We need someone who can do math on the fly and work with decimals/fractions
