General Job Description Sheet Metal Assembler Pay: Up to $22.00/Hour $1,500 Sign-On Bonus $1.00/hr. Shift Differental Company: Freeman Enclosure Systems Shift(s): 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly POSITION SUMMARY: The candidate will require experience or ability to assemble pre-fabricated metal panels and structure (mild steel, galvaneal, or aluminum), using both welding (GMAW/MIG) and bolt-on assembly methods. RELATED JOB FUNCTIONS: Proficient using basic hand and air tools such as drill, grinder, cutting wheels, wrench, and clamps. Demonstrate ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test will be required) Ability to tack and stitch weld using GMAW/ MIG welding methods Required to follow written and verbal work instructions Ability to lift and maneuverer metal components a minimum of 50 lbs. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Flexibility to work in other related departments as required. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 1+ year of on-the-job experience in related field or industry (metal fabrication, construction, welding, etc) Attended trade school and completed program in welding or construction Experience reading blue prints is a plus SIGN ON BONUS There will be a sign on bonus offered in the amount of $1,500.00. After 30 days of employment a $750.00 pay out will be given. The remainder $750.00 will be paid out after employee reaches their 90 days.
