The Sheet Metal Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal components based on engineering drawings and specifications. This role requires expertise in working with various metals and tools to ensure precise, high-quality fabrication of parts used in the company's industrial systems.salary: $48,000 - $55,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and assembly of sheet metal parts.+ Measure, cut, and bend sheet metal materials such as stainless steel and aluminum to precise specifications.+ Set up and operate fabrication equipment including shears, press brakes, and punch presses.+ Weld, grind, and finish sheet metal parts, ensuring high-quality work and meeting project specifications.+ Assemble and fit fabricated parts into subassemblies and final products, ensuring proper alignment and fit.+ Perform inspections to ensure all fabricated components meet quality and safety standards.+ Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely completion of projects.+ Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.+ Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.The essential functions of this role include:+ working up to 5 hrs of overtime per weekSkills+ Blueprint Reading+ Metal Cutting+ Press Brake Operation+ Punch Press+ Tig+ Mig+ Grinding+ Finishing+ CNCQualifications+ Years of experience: 3 years+ Experience level: ExperiencedRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
