Role Overview This hands-on position is responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft airframe and structures systems, composites, and components. Key Responsibilities Support structural repair and modification projects Interpret and read aircraft blueprints/modification drawings Accept ownership of assigned structural projects Follow all policies and procedures including the Quality Control Manual for Elliott Aviation. Ensure safety and security of customer equipment, parts, and aircraft during all structural repair and modification phases Record and maintain accurate and timely aircraft and project documentation Maintain safe and clean work environment Support, maintain, and comply with all Federal, OSHA, State and local regulations, and Elliott Aviations Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Processes Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to attain & retain AOA badge or Airport requirements High school graduate or equivalency degree required Ability to obtain designation as an Elliott Aviation Production Inspector (Blue Stamp) Thorough knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, 145 8 years Aircraft maintenance experience with emphasis on Structural repair and Modifications Licenses: Airframe & Powerplant Certificate preferred FAA Inspection Authorization preferred Skills and Competencies: Willingness to work on a team with both experienced technicians and mentor junior technicians with a calm demeanor. Willingness to learn by taking guidance from others Ability to communicate well in straightforward situations Organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment Must possess excellent mechanical aptitude and a desire to work
