Sheet metal workers select the gauge and type of sheet metal according to the product being fabricated and their knowledge of metals and their properties.What you need to qualify:Sheet Metal Pre-Apprentice applicants must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and must meet required norms on aptitude tests. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, by displaying basic mechanical skills, and having good problem-solving skills.
