Located in Wichita, KSJob Description:IMMEDIATELY HIRING - SHEET METAL TECHNICIAN (FIXED WING) - WICHITA, KSJoin our highly skilled Maintenance Team as we open our new Part 145 Repair Station in Wichita, KSAs a Sheet Metal Technician you will perform duties and responsibilities as listed below in support of the company's 14 CFR Part 145 Certified Repair Station. This will be a Repair Station location modifying and configuring state-of-the-art Avionics and EMS medical equipment installed on company operated Aircraft. - $30.00-$40.00 an hour (DOE)

Willing to consider non-Licensed technicians with documented structures experience.MINIMUM: (qualified sheet metal techs will have the following skills and experience)
- Documented hands-on aircraft maintenance, structures and modification experience in general aviation and Part 135 Operations.
- Thorough knowledge of the Repair Station Company Manual System and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule during the duty period assigned.
- Possess honesty, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant aircraft.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Must have own hand tools to complete sheet metal tasks.
- Excellent written and vocal skills, ability to communicate well.
- Familiar with Adobe and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
PREFERRED:
- Current FAA A&P License
- Relevant experience for a 14 CFR Part 135 and/or Part 145 Certified Repair Station
- FAA Inspection Authorization
- Relevant experience maintaining or installing Aircraft Systems and/or Avionics Systems, including Garmin, Honeywell or other similary systems
