Position Overview
The Sheeter Operator is responsible for set-up and operation of a Marquip Sheeter.
Responsibilities• Setting-up for each job on the machine (to include retrieving rolls, feeding rolls, slitting/trimming roles, etc)• Operating machine at highest efficiency possible• Following work instructions and procedures in place for each job• Troubleshooting and adjusting the machine as needed• Ensuring product conformance to specifications• Maintaining accurate inventory management• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications• Quality conscious individual• Good communication skills• Basic computer skills• Mechanical aptitude• Ability to troubleshoot• Ability to operate clamp truck, forklift and rider pallet jack• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds• Willingness to work 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) or 3rd shift (10pm-6am) with some overtime/weekend work• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, but no experience required
