Sheetrock Installation Team Member

Objective:

Install sheetrock/dura-rock in modules per approved installation guidelines/instructions.

Essential Duties:

* Inspect area where sheetrock will be installed to ensure firestopping of plumbing/electrical work is completed correctly before covering wall

* Measure, cut, fit, and fasten sheetrock/dura-rock to walls and/or ceilings per installation instructions and Cardinal guidelines

* Prepare panels by sawing, drilling, or cutting holes needed for electrical boxes, A/C units, plumbing, etc.

* Work in sync with other team members to ensure production goals are met

* Ensure quality installation before handing off to sheetrock finishers

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* Read a tape measure

* Read production prints and orders

* Read installation instructions

Working Conditions/Expectations:

While performing the essential functions of a Sheetrock Installation Team Member, the following work environment characteristics and physical demands are representative of those the Sheetrock Team Member will encounter:

* Able to work on-premises, full time.

* Able to walk on uneven surfaces and around obstacles.

* Heavy lifting (min 50 pounds), carrying, bending, climbing, grasping

* Noise level is moderate to loud; hearing protection is required when using powered tools and in designated areas

* Constantly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles, eye protection is required during use of powered tools

* No loose or baggy clothing or jewelry is to be work. Sturdy closed toe shoes are required.
