Responsibilities:
The Shift Coordinator:
- Models appropriate service delivery for residents and mentors Behavior Technicians in the delivery of services to residents.
- Communicates information to program management to ensure that appropriate staffing models are in place to address resident needs.
- Fosters environments which create opportunities for learning and independence in daily functioning and interdependence within the community.
- Provides training to Behavior Technicians as needed.
- Leads groups as necessary, providing feedback and training to Behavior Technicians who lead or co-lead groups.
- Facilitate accurate and complete data collection on the shift.
- Assume the role of primary contact for clinical direction for the shift.
- Key staff to review new strategies, behavioral plan elements and facilitate communication of information regarding new strategies/behavioral plan for all staff.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate and/or equivalent training or college hours in the health care field. Preferred Bachelor's degree in human services
- Valid Driver's License
- Prefer 3-5 years of experience with brain injury and/or behavioral management
