Company Overview: Elevate Academy is a co-ed, residential treatment program for adolescents, specializing in trauma, mood disorders, adoption and attachment issues, and similar diagnoses. Students in Elevate Academy have faced adverse experiences that have negatively impacted their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. We strive to build our students' confidence and resiliency, and then empower them to build on those foundations to take charge of a thriving future!

Role Overview: Elevate Academy Coaches work directly with our students, providing supervised support and mentoring to guide them in a forward, therapeutic progression. They assist the students in learning how to self-regulate and implement the tools they learn in therapy during daily activities. We will hire a candidate who demonstrates engagement skills, who can be an attuned caregiver, and shows passion and vision to excel!

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2:30 pm - 10:00 pm
  • Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
  • Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 2:30 pm - 10:00 pm
  • Will also include a Sunday rotation, working one Sunday every four weeks, 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Aptitude for adolescent development.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully coach and mentor adolescents.
  • Basic understanding and competency of neurodiversity and other mental health diagnoses, with assertiveness to improve knowledge and competency for efficient job performance.
  • Management and leadership skills - using passion and vision to teach and steward both students and employees.
  • Excellence in innovation and executing plans, knowing how to be attuned to the people and business you serve to weave culture and results.
  • Good energy, with the ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Engaging and empathetic character, with a balance of tenacity and determination.
  • Proficient in communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Good computer knowledge and professional writing skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop close, personal, and emotionally supportive relationships with the students, coaching them in their treatment progression.
  • Be a leader and an example to reliably intercede and mediate conflicts or provide further support and guidance to students.
  • Implement clinical treatment plans as outlined by the Treatment Team and assure team members understand expectations.
  • Participate in a wide variety of activities with the students, encouraging and supporting them to develop associated skills (i.e., sports, bike riding, rock climbing, hiking, swimming, leisure activities, and hobbies).
  • Assist the Home Manager in leadership duties, including training Coaches on your team and handling operational components of assigned shifts.
  • Consistently touch base with team members for performance tracking and development, reporting necessary updates to the Home Manager.
  • Attend weekly Treatment Team meetings, prepared to report on the therapeutic progression of the students, and work collaboratively with clinical Therapists and other Treatment Team members to develop strategic goals and objectives for each student.
