Join the Wasabi Team! We are looking for a friendly, motivated candidate with excellent communication skills. Schedule must be available evenings and weekends. The perfect candidate for us is a motivated team player who always puts the guest first.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce server's name.
  • Bussing and setting tables.
  • Answering phones to take reservations and to-go orders.
  • Receive payments by validating credit charges, approving checks, accepting currency, calculating and issuing change for to-go orders.
  • Manage the flow of guests into the Dining and Bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate.
  • Staying up to date with specials, hours of operation as well as take-out and ordering procedures.
  • Restocking/organize liquors.
  • Tidying restrooms and other common areas.
  • Weekly inventory.
  • Make sure in the end of the day cash out correctly.

Must be able to:

  • Walk and stand for prolonged amounts of time.
  • Carry trays or supplies (10-20 lbs).
  • Clearly communicate guests needs to servers, management and kitchen staff.
  • Reach, bend, stoop and wipe.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively communicate on the telephone.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
