Join the Wasabi Team! We are looking for a friendly, motivated candidate with excellent communication skills. Schedule must be available evenings and weekends. The perfect candidate for us is a motivated team player who always puts the guest first.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce server's name.
- Bussing and setting tables.
- Answering phones to take reservations and to-go orders.
- Receive payments by validating credit charges, approving checks, accepting currency, calculating and issuing change for to-go orders.
- Manage the flow of guests into the Dining and Bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate.
- Staying up to date with specials, hours of operation as well as take-out and ordering procedures.
- Restocking/organize liquors.
- Tidying restrooms and other common areas.
- Weekly inventory.
- Make sure in the end of the day cash out correctly.
Must be able to:
- Walk and stand for prolonged amounts of time.
- Carry trays or supplies (10-20 lbs).
- Clearly communicate guests needs to servers, management and kitchen staff.
- Reach, bend, stoop and wipe.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Effectively communicate on the telephone.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
