Job DescriptionSaladworks – Spring Hill is excited to announce a new opening for a part-time Shift Leader role. This position is integral to our daily operations and offers the opportunity to become a key player in a leading health-conscious eatery. We pride ourselves on offering delicious, fresh, and custom-made entrees, including salads, wraps, and more.
This is not a remote job; hence, presence at our Spring Hill location is essential. Our Shift Leader will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing significantly towards maintaining high standards of customer service and operational management. Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee the daily restaurant operations to ensure overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and allocate staff resources based on traffic and demand to optimize service delivery.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, organization, and cleanliness complying with public health regulations.
- Train and mentor new staff ensuring they are well-versed in product knowledge and customer service standards.
- Handle customer queries and complaints with professionalism and in a manner that prioritizes customer satisfaction.
- Administer opening and closing procedures, securely managing cash flows and receipts.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies as needed, and maintaining proper stock levels.
- Implement promotional activities and be active in community involvement initiatives to enhance brand engagement.
- Monitor the performance of the team and provide continuous feedback to foster an environment of growth and improvement.
- Ensure team compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Report to management on operational progress and any issues that require higher level intervention.
Requirements- Proven experience as a shift leader or supervisory role, preferably in a restaurant or food service setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and make quick decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to upholding company values.
- Experience in using POS systems and handling financial transactions accurately.
- Availability to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the workload.
- Familiarity with basic cooking and hygiene standards necessary for proper food handling and preparation.
- Physical endurance to perform tasks standing and ability to lift moderate amounts.
- High school diploma or equivalent education level; further education in hospitality or management favored.
