OVERVIEW
As a Shift Lead, you will support the managers in ensuring that all daily operating procedures are performed as required while promoting a company image of excellence through a strong work ethic, leadership by example, and the consistent delivery of impeccable customer service. Shift Leads maximize sales through the development and supervision of sales staff. The Shift Lead is also responsible for ensuring transactions are carried out in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise, manage, and direct the activities of the sales team.Enforce company policies and ensure staff adheres to best practices.Manage and inspire staff to deliver the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.Maintain a positive attitude toward staff and customers at all times.Assist with customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.Maintain in-depth knowledge of all strains and products in store inventory as well as industry-wide product and trend knowledge.Assist in training new employees and newly promoted shift leads.Drive store initiatives for sales contests.Ensure Sales Associates are in compliance with all State and Company regulations and policies.Set the example for great customer service consistently throughout the day.Ensure all trash, boxes, and debris are free from the work areas. Maintain a clean and organized environment.Delegate tasks as needed and ensure completion.Responsible for all duties that go along with opening and closing the store.In collaboration with the inventory team, ensure product is stocked on the sales floor and ready for purchase.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Cannabis retail experience is preferred.
- Associate degree or two years' management experience, preferred.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Work independently and with others.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Must possess valid driver's license or state ID.
- Must pass any and all required background checks and be able to be approved for current state cannabis worker license or permit.
