Delegating tasks to restaurant staff and supervising their performance.Maintaining a fully-stocked inventory and ordering food supplies as needed.Arranging to have shifts covered (e.g. when employees take time off).Helping staff resolve on-the-job challenges.Tracking and impacting daily costs and revenues, including labor, food cost, guest satisfaction, and sales.Balancing the cash drawer at the end of the shift.Coordinating with suppliers as they deliver food product orders.Ensuring client satisfaction and gracefully handling any complaints.Opening or closing the restaurant (when responsible for the first or last shift).Informing the next Shift Leader about pending tasks.Reporting maintenance and training needs.Protecting establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.Other duties as requested by management.This is for a position at a franchised McAlister's Deli location.
