Job Description:

We are looking for a key Holder/Shift Leader for our Children's Soft Play Centre (Must be 18 years and/or above) who has a enthusiastic and flexible approach to the demands of a busy Children's play Centre, creating a relaxed an inviting environment for both adults and children to enjoy.

Hours: Part Time 16 hours minimum up to 35 hrsVarious shift patterns available, must be available a minimum of one weekend day (flexibility required) or alternative weekends both weekend day availabilty would be an advantage - must be able to work school holiday due to nature of the businesd

(Shift pattern availability is between 9am-6.30pm with the exception of exclusive hire when shifts finish at 7.45pm a minimum of one per week required approximately these are rotational)

This role is hands on role working on the centre floor serving ensuring the centre runs smoothly, while delivering excellent customer services and ensuring the upkeep of the facility is maintained.

Key Responsibilities will include:

-Be responsible for the opening/closing of the centre-Manage and maintain the gross profit margin- Stock management, monitor stock levels, ordering and wastage keeping budgets in mind- Be responsible for marketing activities & developing new groups/promotions/parties-Be responsible for health & safety matters, maintaining & reporting-Prepare staff rotas, ensure shift rotas, sickness, parties are covered and managed appropriately-Manage staff effectively and efficiently-Deal with queries from public/customers/staff, verbally, email, face book & telephone-Be confident in the upselling, booking & delivery of parties/play sessions-Be flexible and prepared to undertake tasks that contribute to the successful day to day running of the centre-Serve the general public on reception/café- Handle cash/card payments- Be responsible for making lunches/food/drinks for customers-Cashing up daily-Supervise, support & liaise with all staff on the day to day events, hand over to duty supervisors/key holders on shift changes.-Manage staff, making sure they are focused on providing excellent quality to all customers-Be flexible-Follow and train staff policies and procedures

-Must be willing to train in the kitchen to cover and support

Job Type: Part Time

Salary: Above Minimum Wage dependant on experience

Closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and NewYears Day

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £8.75-£11.95 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
